The Lobo is a crew-cab-only appearance and handling trim with a naturally aspirated V-8.
Ford has added a new trim to the F-150 lineup for 2026, and it’s one that internet comm enters have requested for years: the Lobo. It is Ford’s take on a modern street truck, and it builds on the Lobo name from the smaller Maverick.

What You Get –
The Lobo is offered only as a SuperCrew with the 5.5-foot bed. It comes with Ford’s 5.0-liter V-8, which makes 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque and is paired with a 10-speed automatic. Four-wheel drive is standard, with a two-speed transfer case.

The look is the main selling point. The truck sits about two inches lower than a standard F-150, helped by a deep front bumper and body extensions. Other changes include a cowl hood, an LED light bar, an illuminated Ford badge, subtle Lobo badges and 22-inch gloss black wheels. Ford also adds an electronic locking rear axle.
Built on the STX –
Ford based the Lobo on the mid-level STX trim to keep the price in check. That means a 12-inch touchscreen and a 12-inch digital gauge cluster running Ford’s latest Sync system. It also means cloth seats, manual seat adjustments and, in some builds, a traditional metal key. Fans of old-school F-150s will likely find that charming, and others will want leather and a key fob.
Pricing and Options –
The Lobo package adds $4,695 to an STX. A base Lobo starts at $60,555 including destination, according to Motor1’s test truck. Car and Driver lists a base price of $59,860 for its test truck, so exact figures vary by source and timing. Check Ford’s configurator before you shop.
Options push the price up quickly. Rapid Red metallic paint costs $495, and the Mobile Office package, a spray-in bedliner, floor liners and a satellite radio plan all add to the total. Motor1’s tester stickered at $63,875, and Car and Driver’s at $62,490.
Rivals –
The Lobo competes with the Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra and Ram 1500, and with their own appearance and sport packages.
