The Mahindra Thar Rocks seems to have received a new Mocha Grey interior theme. Units with this new theme in the cabin have started arriving at dealerships and will likely be sold in the market along with Mocha Brown interiors (available on top variants with 4×4 system). If reports are to be believed, the new interior will likely replace the Ivory White interiors that were introduced at the time of the SUV’s launch on August 15, 2024.

Based on the pictures that have surfaced on the internet, the new Mocha Grey interior features a combination of dark and light colours. Specifically, parts of the seats, dashboard, armrests and door pads are finished in light grey with contrast stitching. It should be noted that this colour makes the interior easier to maintain compared to the Ivory White which was criticised by consumers.
Along with the changes in the cabin, the features of the Mahindra Thar Rocks have also been changed in the 2025 model. It now comes with keyless entry which was not available in the earlier model. Apart from this, it now gets an armrest for the passenger seat and new aerodynamic wipers that help reduce noise in the cabin.

Apart from this, the Mahindra Thar Rocks gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, six-way adjustable driver seat, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control with vents for the rear, cooled glove compartment and automatic headlights and windscreen wipers.
The engine options remain the same, which includes a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. These powertrains can be paired with a manual or automatic transmission. The petrol variants of the SUV have a rear-wheel-drive system, while the diesel version gets the option of a 4×4 system. Currently, it is available at a starting price of Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom), going up to Rs 23.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
